Bit new to this...anyhow wonder if any of you knowledgeable and helpful people could help!!

I have put a 1.8TDi engine in my courier van. Got the engine running and then it stopped.

The diesel pump fuse blew and I changed it. Since then cannot get the thing running at all.

Can anyone give us some ideas on what to do next?

Have you changed the start/stop soleniod on the fp as the original ones are coded I think which would stop it from running.

This is the high pressure rail system does it still have a start stop solenoid in the fp?


The fp and the key and ecu are all matched, the guy who sold me the engine gave me all the bits he said I will need. It ran for a bit then stopped.
