any 1 know what the difference is between cosworth blue injectors and fiesta rs turbo blue injectors

iirc, cossie with be Bosch and have something like 0280150???
fiesta will be different IAW??? i think

Wicked i hav a fiesta rs turbo and its running 15 psi on blue injectors and a superchip every1 i speak to says it ain't possible so i'm thinking i might hav cosworth blues ?????

Iw 050 on a fiesta set of blue i hav on a spare rail and they are webber i will look at mine on the car quick

they won't work with your ecu if they are cossie items

You could i suppose but it would be running lean i would expect at 15psi with fiesta ones.

I am not sure how you would go about running them as iirc fiesta injectors run around 15 Ohmz and cossie are less than 5 Ohmz so not sure how that would effect them.

The person i brought my rs off was running 180bhp @ 10psi and has done sum cossie bit for sum reason cossie amal valve i think he might of found a way lol

I would keep checking and find out what your running you dont want to damage your engine if your running injectors that arnt upto the job.

i'm sure you can see the part number on the side on the injector, don't think cossie injectors will work on your ecu

As a few people have suggested cossie injectors will not work on fiesta management unless you are a clever cookie and alter the impedance using resistors. Don't quote me on the using resistors as I am not too clued up with electronics but the impedance will have to be changed somehow because they are of totallly different values. A fiesta uses high impedance 16 ohm and cossies are 5 or 6

Turn the boost down asap as you are on borrowed time and the injectors will be working their tits off. Pretty sure you shouldn't run them over 80% duty cycle.

as far as i know standard i will be fitting a sytec 300bhp soon as i can and an omex management system green injectors 3 bar map sensor and a sytec pressure regulator then she will b ready for the rollers

thanks for the advice Oranoco she is off the road at the min goin to fully underseal her put new sills in and wax oil all the inna sill and get her shell 110% safe the be sortin the fueling and management issues i hav lol thanks tho
