Been having a little trouble with a mates car with hesistation at 4 to 4.5k
when u give it some beans but if you drive steady it don't happen and say 1 in 5 times its ok.
now everything has been replaced and checked with known working componets etc

Its a escort mk2 cossie.

So my question is does it matter how the injection fuel pump is mounted?
All cossies are across the car but this one is mounted off the swirl pot facing rearwards.
