I planned on using a cvh sump for my RWD zetec and chopped it all up to clear the cross member then then i went to bolt it to the engine....it wont fit! I'm using a black top zetec and didn't realise that the CVH sump was being used on the silvertop. Is there a way of getting it to work with the blacktop? It seems to be catching on the oil pump so wont slide back and line up with the holes. If anybody has used this sump on a blacktop i'd love to know how they made it work. Thanks.

 

a mate ov mine just warmed it up and tapped it gentally with a ball hammer , but make sure u dont disform the arch section that goes over the end.
