Default CD player mount problem...

Hey everyone

heres the issue...I took my car to a radio place down the road and they swapped the nasty ford tape player for a cd player. well, after a few weeks i went over a bump and the whole thing fell out. i went back and they said i needed a new fascia, bought it and still it fell out. what i discoverd was on the back of the ford tape player was a plastic hook which held it up behind it. my new cd player has nothing for that hook to attach too...any help or advice would be so appreciated its been like this for a year!!!

What car? Had a similar problem a few years ago with a Mk4 Fiesta where the damn single DIN adapter kept jumping out. Popped the deck out and refitted the trim with the addition of a couple of small self tapers before refitting the deck and it never jumped out again

you need that hook thing, should have been supplied with the fascia trim, you screw it on to the back of the new radio.
