Default BEEFYS S1 rwd cossie shell - for sale folks

ok folks here goes ,

please rear the entire advert before commenting , all serious enquirys should contact me @ 07787354837 ,

PLEASE NOTE - some parts are currently away being painted , realistically its going to be another week before all items are wrapped and ready to go .

right ...

donor shell was Y reg mk 3 ford escort 1.6 auto ghia around 45 k on the clock before stripping , no previous damage , best possible shell to start with.. sierra was a twin cam ghia iirc donated by dojj to the project , stone fire mint again .

full sierra rwd conversion completed bk fabricator karl graham , work done to the best possible standard , no time or expense spared on any inch ,

sierra floor pan taken bk to bare metal all engine bay holes filled and smoothed all unessacary holes underneath filled and smoothed , wings added and fitted to mk 3 sills as per factory one of the best fitted floorpans in the country - looks 100% factory , custom floor to rear seat filler panels all swaged for strentgh , fully spotwelded and stich-seam welded where applicable
modified sierre bulkhead panel refitted profiled to mk 3 bulkhead,
modified front turrets to accommodate compbrake eccentric adj topmouts
custom 1 off removeable battery tray ,
custom 1 off tubular crossmember to allow 100mm cooler to be fitted
brand new escort front panel fitted
brand new x2 front wings fitted ( travelled to liverpool to exchange one as k wasnt happy with the fit !!)
both doors replaced with mint escort doors ,
o.e sills ,inners ect
rear chassis legs removed , blasted - etched - primed and refitted 3 inches further inboard ,
o.e rear tubs stretched 3 inch to accomodate wider larger rear wheels ,
all refitted as to factory standard ,
custom 1 off rear turrets with compbrake adj eccentric top mounts
custom 1 off fully swaged rear boot floor panel ,
custom wrc rear mount points fitted
all unessacary holes deleted ,

fully prepped body shell to concourse condition , fully seam sealerd to neatest poss finish , etched stonechipped were app ,new sound deadening 4 + coats of hi build primer - 3 coats paint -3 lacquer - more in places - underside painted to mirror finish , same for interior and engine bay , not a single inch unpainted ,

complete un molested s1 bodykit took back to o.e factory black plastic for best poss finish , built back up with primer ect- not orange peely like so many ,
modded de baged rs grille 5 bar ,

all kit refitted with new stainless bolts, ( not rivited ) and using custom tapered washers ,

exterior paintwork by gary " escosgaz " richardson , regarded as one of the best painters in the cossie scene and by far one of the best in the country .

all panel gaps , door gaps 100% mint

quality of entire paintjob is stunning , finished in jaguar/ range rover stornoway grey 2 k paint ,

no time - effort - expense was spared in the complete fabrication and painting of the car ,

i would estimate theres around 1600 man hours gone into the shell ,

items included with the shell ,
  • complete mk motorsport wrc style lateral link rear end , fully adjustable , cradle - link arms x 6 , 2 billet hubs , 2x 2wd bearing adapters steering arms , rosejoints, spacers ect ,

a full nut n bolt restoration diary of the build can be found here covering every aspect of the build

https://passionford.com/forum/restor...-breaking.html

its a prominent well known project , no corners cut and nothing hidden has been 4 years of my life , sadly its time to move on ,

imo arguably one of the best fabricated and converted mk 3 cossie shells in the country

genuine folk intrested can reach me on 07787354837 , please do not pm me , the project will be advertised on various sites and theres every possability your message could be missed ,

not looking for another project so no swaps for your cossie or rst ect

Yes but even if I wasn't the title kinda states it didn't get finished!

This shell is a credit to all involved and will make a really good example of what ford could have done, but as you say beef family comes first this is just a lump of steel you can get back one day but the early years of you little girl growing up will never

good luck bud

When u look at base model rusty mk 1&2s are fetching 2-3k nowadays I think the price of the shell is quite reasonable considering there's over 2 grands worth of rear end included and a further 5-700 quids worth of parts in the sale

Deduct the above from the cost of the shell and if u think is still not worth it then ur the fucking plonker !!!
