Cracked grill

Default Cracked grill

Had the 3 door out yesterday and was doing about 60 when a pheasent flew out and hit the front of my car cracking the grill just abover the Ford badge, can this be repaired and how please.

id leave the pheasent hanging out the grill for as long as poss

Post a pic up mate, does not sound too bad though a decent body repair shop should be able to repair it perfectly.

Cant mate, i had it for tea,

Reinforce it from behind with either fibreglass matting and resin or some would use fibreglass filler. The sand down the front pael and lightly fill it. High build primer and flat off then paint it in whatever colour your car is. Work out cheaper this way then buying a second hand one i'd say

Make sure you bond it front and back or it will crack again,make a grove front and back where the crack is ,then fill this with bond
