Good morning my esteemed pf colleagues!
When you ran the loom in your car, how/where did you take the loom from inside the boot, to outside the car to connect it to the fuel pump?
Before I go butchering the car and tyriying to stick in grommets etc unnecessarily, I wanted to know the easiest and cleanest way to run the new feed, also any comments on where you earthed the new fuel pump loom would also be helpful. My car looks nice and not thrown together, so I want to contiue this!
Also where/how have you mounted the relay?

On my 3 Door there is two small rubber gromets to the right of the wheel well next to the back panel on the flat section of the boot floor.
I just poked the wires through the one on the left no drilling required.

Thanks,
I have the metal piece at the back that holds on the fuel pump cradle, then at the other end I have two metal inserts that I can take out, i presume if I get the right size grommet I can pass it through there but it's knowing what to use. Might just have a rake around the scrap yard and see if I can scout anything that'll fit.

mines got the grommet too.. and i screwed the relay to the fuel cut switch thing in the wheel well... dont know how the aftermarket looms work as i made my own.. from battery thru fuse then to the new relay. used original fuel pump loom to trigger the relay.. has worked fine for years.
Just found some pics and it jogged the memory,
From the battery then it goes through the grommet on the bulk head.
Then under the carpet along the sill to the boot area
Then it goes through the original grommet which is on the flat part of the boot floor near to were the jack is.
Then you loop it underneath and up through the original grommet in the spare wheel well next to the inertia switch, connect it all up to the new relay and then run the feed back out the same grommet to the pump,
all a bit long winded I know but it might help someone
