Its on the frst EFi wiring loom, ive got a wiring diagram and from the colour wires it tells me its the amal valve? looks nothing like the s2 amal valve, what do i need to do with the take offs from the compressor housing and the actuator? can i use an s2 amal valve or what would be the easiest option?

looks like the noise surpressor, normally near the coil pack. Weird the ones i've seen only have one wire?

Whats that all about then mate? the diagram i have says amal valve wires black and brown/green, which has led me to be confused as to what to do with the compressor housing and actuator take-offs as i dont want to use a bleed valve.

That's a coilpack suppressor. It's usually found on the coilpack bracket.

If you're not going to use a bleed valve and don't have an amal valve you just need to use a single piece of hose from the comp housing to the actuator. You will need to make sure the actuator is set correctly though.

Someones wired up your amal valve to the suppressor that supposed to be on the coilpack...
Unplug it and tape it up out of the way and then run the actuator off the turbo housing.

Black wires are generally 12v feeds, anything brown is GND or a switching GND (normally)...

The standard wiring can be a little confusing as the coolant temp sensor also uses brown/green wire... very easy to get these two mixed up ending up with a car that is a pain to start and runs badly.

I wouldn't use the amal valve, but don't get rid of the connector/wiring.
