Default Fuel pump carrier difference 3dr/Sapp etc

Were the Sapphire onwards revised as all the 3dr ones i've seen including my own seem to be different on the pump side underneath like an extra piece

For example this one i pinched off the net is the same as mine

You can see the base part of the pump side then the fuel pump fitted and the top part just hocks on one side of the lower part and bolts tother side

Other type - doesn't use the 2 semi round parts where the rubber bush with the slits in this has 2 bolts to the left of the pump

Top one is the revised version IIRC, my sapphire has the bottom one on it. Pretty sure the only difference is the the fuel pump clamp and its mounts, rest is the same.

The rubber bobbins, or bushes, are different. One of them is the same as 2.8 or 2.9 Granada ones. Think it was the mk3 Granada with the Essex engine. Either way, both no longer available from Ford. Both can be used though, just depends which you have that is in the best condition.
