Hi guys hope yog can help I have been offered a lhd mk1 escort and was wondering if it is possible to convert it to a rhd and what work would be required? I'm pretty new to the mk1 seen and would appreciate any advice cheers

Think you'll have to modify scuttle panel to change the wipers over, you'll need a rhd wiper motor.
Steering colum/bulkhead and steering rack would all need to be changed/modified
Good luck with the project
And get some pictures up when you get the car

 

you can use your original steering column you need new rack ,new dash top/dash unless your good with a welder,new loom or extend the one you have ,bulkhead can be modified to suit,to be honest though lhd make better drivers cars / race cars,just depends if you can live with it ,as wont cost anything then
