Age/Car/Driving history would help.

£7353 might not be so bad on a Lamborghini Aventador!

But on a 1.2 Corsa, that's bad

how have you got it so cheap on the fiesta ST?

I wanted to get a sportka as a daily, but with the no claims on the cossie, the cunts all want £1500 - 2000!!! And im 31!! To insure a banger as a daily would cost me more than the cossie.

fucking rediculous.

my 170hp bmw is cheaper to insure than my old 80hp mondeo. I'm sure they pull a figure out of their asses and just type it (that's figure, not finger )

A mate's son is just 17 and has been looking at getting a first car,

even the most small engine, shittest cars are about £4k for him to insure. Madness.

Need a re-think.
This is using GoCompare.com

£4,546

£4,662

£4,314

£4,363

Cheapest thing on the road to insure, Had mine insured for £170 a year. Was nearly paying that a month on the car a few years ago. Rediculous

You joking? I'm 21, 3yrs ncb, driving 3 yrs, highest risk postcode, and can insure my 200sx for £1200 with mods declared.

Edit-just read the NCB bit. You want a policy with Elephant, because my Fiesta is insured with them, so my NCB is on that, they take it into account, so I have both cars on one policy.

its a stupid world we live in,
somebody who had been refused insurance in the past for insurance fraud would have got a cheaper quote than that..... shocking

problem is finding a multicar policy that will take a puma as modified as mine. In fact its finding an insurer full stop, im down to about 5 companies that will qoute on it at my postcode. the rest wont qoute because of mods or postcode or combination.

Its the principle of it that pisses me off. I have 4 years NCD on one car, its plainly obvious i have therefore not crashed in 4 years at least so why should i pay the same price as some goon with no experience? just because the NCD was earned on another car??

Its especially annoying as until a couple of years ago I had accrued 3 years on a second policy on another car but the NCD has since "expired"

Asda gave me a quote for £45k for a 2 litre golf diesel.
Rather buy an m3 and drive around uninsured.

thing that annoyed me last time i called up to sort my new runaround insurance (went from a Puma to a 106 diesel) only had 4 months left on insurance anyways so i had to pay a bit extra but when i asked them how it was possible that it was the same cost as my puma being that a puma is better, faster and a higher insurance group it appears not that insuance groups dont matter. there are more 106's on the road than pumas so there have been more accidents meaning that they are more likely to have a crash. so basically insurance groups mean jack all.

I pay more in insurance per month for my 1999 focus, with 8 years NCB than I do for my 800cc Honda VFR motorbike on a brand new licence with no NCB!! Go figure that one out!
