Did have a 1.8 ZVH but water got into the inlet and hydrolocked it So, I've picked up a spare 1.6CVH engine to put in.

Full scorpion stainless (with manifold and downpipe wrapped)
Turbo looks to be a hybrid, but not sure on spec
Chipped ECU
Set at 11psi and holds boost well
Koni shocks and springs
90 spec interior but drivers seat is grubby with rip on bolster
Standard wheels with lots of tread all round
Shell is nice and solid underneath
Slight bubbling around the sunroof

Basically just looking to get my money back on it

Putting the engine in, just waiting to pick up a crane this weekend so I can crack on

 

That looks tempting if it runs right when done.

I'm not after a project or a headache, but don't want/need something concourse either.

 

It will run fine dude. Obviously I would always recommend a set up before driving it hard.

Engine is in now, jist got to plumb the pipes up and plug sensors on. Had to stop today though due to my glass back, lol

All dodgy wiring has been stripepd back and sorted out, including old bodged up fuel pump relay and push button start.

Now, I have been as honest as I can be. I think this car is worth £1500 all day long. Its a runner, it has a long test on it and a couple of moths tax.

A few hundred throwing at this, and someone will have a decent motor.
