Default Getting a bit pricey now

I am bidding on these locks for the 3door alloys as I am going back to standard spec. I was the high bidder up to 250 nicker. I want these but it is getting scary now. Are there any reproductions of these or alternatives?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/cosworth-r...6#ht_500wt_919

Please help before I piss away 300 quid on locks.

See it allot on fleabay .... Some one will have a set on for 0.99 no reserve this time next week.

Although Ł261 quid is like 26 quid to some people.

I don't mind paying extra to get a car looking good, but this is taking the proverbial. Its a private sale, so I cant see the bidding history, could the seller have a mate bidding them up for him. I think I am out on this set.

Fuck it. I will stickaflex the cunting things on.

No chance would i be spending that sort of money on them. You could buy a few sets of 3dr wheels for that price.

If you want a nice car with attention to detail you have to prepare to pay over the odds mate.

So you mean a rusty old coachbolt holding the centre caps on wont cut the mustard?

Must Try Harder!

My mate won 2 for Ł80 recently and then got another 2 off someone in the Group for Ł60 at mates rates, so it's just how bad you want them.

Getting rarer and rarer so you could get your money back and maybe more in time to come. If the sellers details are his private plate then I am sure that used to be on a white 3 door.

I found the cheapest way to buy a set of 3dr wheels is to buy a set that are in concours condition - i payed Ł750 for a set with new T1r tyres on - if you break the cost of a referb'd set and tyres it's beyond buying a shit set and doing it that way.

As for locks, they used to be Ł25 per lock

Yes mate. The car is going back to a factory spec. Dunno why just fancy it. Keeping the bits I take off. Gonna start stripping it when I get home and get suspension and everything possible powder coated or painted.
