your T5 is a world class T5. The WC T5 should not be running gear oil. It is to thick and will in time damage the syncros. ATF is the correct fluid for a WC T5 and gear oil for a NON WC T5. You will find if you swap out the gear oil for ATF the trans will shift much smoother.

mine was a little notchy from cold but once warmed up a little was perfect..
i had a new box fitted years ago by a1 rallysport and they used gear oil and not atf.. bara rebuilds them and recomended it to me and never had a problem with syncros... just stripping 3rd gear but doubt that was the oild fault..
this was on the normal cosworth t5 box

Basically, you can't go wrong with ATF, really. If your desperate. I've heard of loads of people going for 75w 90 though.

i used to run mobil 75/90 in my box, then it started sticking in 4th,
it had broken and bent some sort of guide things, cant remember now what they were called,
the man that sorted it said it was most likely down to the oil i was running and to run the genuine ford mtx 75/90 oil as its different from other 75/90 oils,
i did as he said , so far so good , feels alot better than before too
