Default ZT Any reason not to use a Mondeo inlet?

A friend is wanting to go the ZT route on the cheap and we were talking about inlets, I just wondered if there's any reason not to use this?

Cheers!

I use the Focus Inlet manifold with a Mondeo throttle body.
Running about 350bhp without any problems.

What injectors will you be using as the Focus Is top feed the Mondeo is side feed.

What cars it going in?
Don't think theyll fit in a mk3/4 escort bay, or mk2 fiesta. Im Not 100% sure though.
Focus Rs inlets are cheap enough now days.

/\ fine for escort IIRC, no good for mk1/mk2 fiestas though due to steering rack.
otherwise no major issues, just more likely to break with megaboost.

Focus rs inlets have 1.8-2-0l stamped on the back of them I think the only difference between that and a standard focus one is the throttle body and the aluminium bit for the boost hose to fix to

I was going to ask whats the diff with a FRS and 1.8/2.0 focus inlet as they look the same to me... Better selection of injectors with top feeds, altho thats not strictly true 200sx/skyline use side feed injectors and have big flow rates!

Well I'll have a play then, won it on ebay for 99p! lol
It does look just like a FRS one and the injectors are top fed so will use Deka's I imagine...
