Hi mate,
There will be two wires from the ecu to the multiplug on the injector loom, the injector loom then has four wires going to the injectors.
1&4 are joined
2&3 are joined
each plug should have 12v on one pin when the ignition is on, the other pin should buzz through to the joined injector connector....
So 2&3 will buzz through, as will 1&4 if the wiring is fine.
My money is bang on a broken wire, mine did the same.

As Karlos says, if the wire was broken before the multiplug two injectors wouldn't be firing, same with an injector driver fault.
The fact that its only one injector singles the injector loom as being at fault.

Rob,
right have fuel getting to the injetor but still when i have that plug off it doesnt change the note of the engine could it now be there is no spark that that side?
well i have sorted it out runs like a dream now turned out to be my new denso spark plugs they sit to far down an the ht leads was touching right so put old plug back in an all is well only thing is the plugs i bought are denso itv27 as thats what i was told to fit so how can i get them to fit

That really doesn't sound possible if I'm honest, so your saying that the ignition lead doesn't click over the spark plug properly? As I'm pretty sure the top of the plugs, (the bit that is on the outside of the head) are normally all the same length, it's just the depth of which it enters the chamber differs!

The test you have done does NOT indicate no fuel, it just indicates that there is no power being produced by that cylinder, check your spark plugs first, then do a compression test followed by a leak down test if the comp test shows poor results.
The answer to these tests will finalise wether you have injector problems or not.
