In his defence mate he may have been told it was and thinks it is.
It's a pretty well written advert tbh and he mentions a 3dr as well so I'd say he's an enthusiast personally.
Maybe worth sending him a little email to explain the truth?

Just looks wrong at the back end - i remember hearing it's a 2k shell so maybe a 4x4 one - would the 2k 4x4 system mate to a YB engine as the wheels sit in further like a rep
See what you mean about the spoiler Gary

No mate the RS2K engine is E-W layout and the YB is N-S and in the pics the eninge is N-S and in the ad it says its RWD with a T5
rear lower spoiler sits above the rear quarters
wheels are turned in every picture and angled pictures, same with all cosworth reps because the front wheels dont sit centre with the replica arches...
definately a rwd converted rs2000 in my opinion and the seam welding will no doubt be the excuse to an idiot buyer for all the welds in making it rwd

I sent pistonheads a shitty email saying i have now asked twice for any pics or mention of my company to be removed from that advert or i will take legal action against them
They have now sorted it , lol
I think most website owners forget that they are legaly responsible for ALL content on there website ,until they are reminded ,

Looks an ok ad now, probably with a misinformed owner, likely to be a genuine cossie'd rs2000 i'd think. The fact it has that plate under the bonnet I'd just go to that guy or his company and ask, save all the speculation. I'd say that was a 5k car IMO, if that.
I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
