Default CVH Baffled Sump...

Hello all,

Looking to eventually build a track/fast road car in my fiesta turbo...

One question i have is about oil surge and starvation issues on track, has anyone had this issue before..? I know that a baffled sump would help prevent this but wondered if anyone has had one made or know where i could get one from...?

Cheers

Tiller

Std sump works well

There is a few track goers running a std one with no problems.

I have a baffled and gated one by xworks

the standard sump on any cvh is dreadful
only any use for left hand corners hit a long right hander and it's bye bye crank shaft turbo etc

Where is your oil return? Could have surged back up and kept the oil in the turbo for too long and bypassed a seal briefly with the pressure build up? Stab in the dark entirely!!
