Hello everyone,
Got a question for you all and I thank you all for your responses before there are any.
I have a 1989 (F) escort xr3i cabriolet and im having problems getting it insured. It's a second car, my primary is a 1.7 cdti 59 plate astra and im paying 1200 a year to insure it.
Im 19 and the cheapest quote ive had for my escort is 3500+
is there anyway i can get like 6month insurance or classic insurance so i can drive it or do i have to wait til i'm 25
?
Thanks again for the responses

all prices im getting are still extortionate... I suppose my only option is wait til im 25 and get classic insurance on it? Unless someone else can point me in a better direction?

i've tried a couple based on what a few people have suggested but the quotes are extortionate. Especially as my escort will be an infrequently used car. :/ Majority of the year it will be locked in the garage.
