Default What Dump Valve

Right gotta get a new dump valve 4 my car.
Got an old original Bailey piston one at the mo, but it keeps siezing

Even on my older specs used to always split diaphragms so basicaly what do u guys recon is best on my car running 30psi on T4

Oh and if anyone got one for sale that would b suitable PM us would ya

Seen this one (pic below) adjustable boost setting so does that mean I could set it at say 20psi and the car would start dumping then so produce no more than 20 psi, and anyone had any experience of any like it

You could send/take the Bailey 1 back and get it rebuilt

they do that do they ???

But tbh it done it on and off since new, wd40 would sort it for a couple days then need doing again

found a nice ptfe based lube lol, used that and it lasted a year without doing again

But this time even that stuff not doing it, always seems to do it when first starting have even taken it while driving lubed it and then put it back and still no good, but turn car off for say 20 mins and then ok, maybe it NOT the dv but recon it is.

Are the latter design Baileys any better /different ???

Use a GRP A DV with a Kevlar diaphragm ......... problem solved should cost about £80 for the DV and £10 for the DIAPHRAGM
