Default Chatter or bov?

Just removed my bov to see how chatter sounds, blanked it off to get chatter personally think the bov sounds better as chatter seems so much louder and only running standard boost. Think i may be tempted to put bov back on as also heard chatter can cause turbo damage.

I dont know whether the chatter is fantastic, or i prefer the more suttle pssshh of the bov. Maybe the chatter will grow on me with louder chatter by removing the air box and fitting a induction kit.

You need a cone filter for proper chatter

My Focus has both. Strong spring in my bov so round town it's chatter and when pushed hard it's bov dump. Best of both worlds imo

I have a group a diaphragm valve and I purposely make mine chatter just through easing of the accelerator, and mine chatters like fook lol, and my turbo is still in a1 condition. I think it's a case of the actuator rod snapping first or the wasteate valve which isn't a massive fixing job.

My T34 chatters alot! I have it blanked off and a 360 degree turbo etc I was concerned with the life of my turbo but after speaking with loads of cossie owners, unless running a really big turbo they say not to bother with a DV.I love the chatter
