in looking to zetec turbo my escort but I'm unsure how to tell the difference between a black top and a silver top, it may seem like a stupid question i know lol, also which models and years had the silver tops? cheers

 

well its easy sliver tops have a metal rocket cover and black tops are plastic.

as for what year and car im think ford mondeo pre 1995 for the 2.0s
