Default do zetecs have 2 pice valves ?

had a chat with the guy thts building my zetec turbo and he said i need the valves swaping with sone solid steel items because zetecs have 2 pice valves or somthing ie the stem and the flat bit are made from 2 diferent bits

just thought i would make a post on here because its the first i have heard of this 2 pice valve business

aparently under load theay can randomly fook up so im after some info about this as it seems a bit like he is trying to get more money out of me

oooh hang on, do you mean the collets that hold the valves and springs into the head? they are 2 piece and pretty fiddely????????

I dont know anyone who has changed valves other than to get bigger ones.....I run std ones, and afiak most people do!.

managed to stack my car in a way that the cam belt and pullys cut thru the bonnet!
AHEM! (dont ask)

the dick recovery driver said... 'i reckon it will start' as he turned the key..

i will just get the head drilled for the turbo stud pattern and bobs ya uncle

cross fingers that the 130ps cams and my new t34 work well together

cant you just use a Focus RS exhaust manifold?? that would bolt straight onto
the head?

dunno about turbo to manifold fitting though.
