Hi wanting to fit 9x17 alloys on rear of 3dr any one know the best offset and the best Tyre size all help appreciated cheers

 

Et30 offset with a 215 should be fine, aslong as your not using standard shocks, konis set to half way would be fine

 

215's would be a bit of stretch with 9" wheels.
I've got 245/35/17 on the rear of my 3 Door with 8x17 ET23
245/35/17 is a really good size for rear tyres on a 3 Door, i've seen offsets as low as ET15 on the rear but ET25 to ET30 would probably look good.

I was thinking 235 40 17 Tyres

 

On a 9" that's what want, no lower than ET25 on that width unless you cut the metal away

 

im running 235/40/17 on 8" comp

 

im having same probs on mine mate want wider wheels an tyres on my 3 door but dont wanna cut arches just make rears look a little wider than front i really dont know what ET offset to have on rears either ?
