Fuel rail modifcations to take top feed injectors and mods to the tps as far as I'm aware. ill be doing this soon.
Go onto xrtwo.com and search for xrt-mart . His build thread shows whats needed.

Fuel rail i think is fine as sure Subaru or Nissan 200sx side feed injectors fit directly?

Main problem is the ISCV and Fiesta Turbo throttle body / TPS.

Signed up to XRTwo but waiting for the Admin approval thing.

YOu may be right about the injectors mate I havn't looked into them yet. Are they defo compatible with OFAB tho?
Best to blank off iscv and get a remote mount one or mod yours to run remotely.
The thread I told you to look at on xrtwo shows whats required for the TPS.
Best to use the HO throttle body i think as its poss bigger not measured mine yet tho.

I'll need to double check about side feed injectors and OFAB. Thought the inlet side of things would be a doddle. Its probably the hardest thing so far haha

Yeah iv registered but still haven't been activated by admin.

what exactly do you need to know.
if you get hold of some side feed injectors (think subaru IIRC) then that's one problem sorted. no need to change ISCV, just may need an alteration in the map or don't connect it, just means a little lumpy on start up but will be fine after a minute if the warm up enrichments are set well.
seal in the injector housing to the inlet sandwich part, these can leak with positive pressure, i've used haematite semi hardening red sealant for this, doesn't go near injectors so don't worry.
rest of the inlet is fine.
i run a HO one on my zetec turbo in my xr2, i do run end feed injectors so a fair amount of extra work, but very useable, yet to get any figures on it, but wheel spin in fifth at 110mph, suggests it doesn't do too badly.

I want to run a HO manifold with a OFAB set up.

So the ISCV seems sorted.

Do the side feeds from a Subaru / 200SX etc share the same plugs as the OFAB?

Also what do i do with the TPS? Read that you have to use the Fiesta Turbo item but its not a straight swap with the zetec TB and the Zetec plug isn't compatible with the FRST one.

ok, the plugs on scooby injectors aren't the same, but five mins with the plugs and a soldering iron and you'll be sorted.
as for tps, it isn't a simple fix, however it would be easy enough to make an adaptor to use the frst one, as far as i remember the plug for the iscv is the same three pin affair.

Yeah the ISCV plugs are exactly the same.

Just need to get on the other forum to find out the best way of modding the FRST TPS plug to fit the zetec TB.

Been thinking. Could i not just run the zetec TPS, solder the Zetec plug on the OFAB or does it need to be a compatible Fiesta TPS sensor?

Phase 1 or 1.5 scooby injectors fit, just need to swap o-rings, its obvious when you see them. As said 5mins with a soldering iron sorts the plugs out, just done mine and its a doddle.

Are you running OFAB with yours mate?

Are the Subaru injector plugs all the same? Local breakers doesn't have any Scooby Turbo's in but might have the standard 2 litre or Legacy

Can anyone confirm if the HO tps defo works with OFAB and if the subaru injectors are the correct impedance to run on ofab?
Im also about to do this conversion soon and if these parts are useable it will save me and the op a lot of time and hassle.

Cheers

scooby injectors will be fine, the tps i was under the impression gives different readings, never had them both next to each other to test though.

Read on another forum someone had fitted a 5mm spacer so they could run the FRST throttle body directly on the HO manifold. Probably the easiest option if you can't use the Zetec TPS.

Grant, did you not post up somewhere about being in contact with MSD and a limit to the size of injectors you can use with a EFI manifold?

Not sure if the OFAB ECU limit would be a problem with the Scooby injectors?

Yeah when I spoke to James at msd he said the biggest injectors I could run were the weber iw158/iw058. Will speak to him again re the Subaru injectors.
