Default Converting from Standalone Management back to P8? Help

Hi,

One of my Escorts has a Gotech Pro-X ECU. I believe this has it's own loom.

Basically I want to convert back to the original setup. How hard/easy is this to do? I'm handy with spanners but hate wiring so I'll be paying someone to do this.

Anyone know the resale value on a Gotech ECU and Loom?

Thanks,
Stephen

Id imagine it would be fairly straight fordward, but why would you want to?

depends if the original P8 loom was tied up and hidden behind the bulkhead or cut out.

If it is still there, then dead easy.

if its not then it will be quite hard to rewire it 100% original.

However refitting a standalone cossie loom from an aftermarket supplier is usually dead easy.

if you intend to convert back to p8 i would not recomend that you entertain using the standard ford loom if it is still intact.
I advise that you purchase a new pectel engine loom
there are few companies that can make you this type of loom
the standard ford loom is responsible for alot of the escorts running problems

Thanks for the info, guys. Any rough prices on one of these looms?

Not me lol, it was on it when I got it.
