i love the RR result threads.... because the figure is lower or higher than you expected does that make the car bad or great???

i ve learnt to ignore the figures mainly a willy waving comp and judge a car on how it performs on the road.

either way thats ALOT of power in a rwd sierra.

is the power figure that important?? if so get the op to put the ambient air temp sensor into a cup of tea.

imo unless the same rollers arfe used to gauge what difference new mods haved made you'll always get different results, with different operators, rollers etc etc

get to brunters and do a 0-100 or 30-130 or top speedn you'll soon know where the car is power wise.

love it though

On the road it will go as fast as the Power it has. Why ignore figures its not willy waving just an indication of the Power your car has. If it aint got big Power it wont be fast thats a fact you cant change.
Steves figures are about right for the engine Spec the previous figures to coin Jimbo 'was bollix' & Steve knows that.

Really Rod im under the impression that torque figures are accurate but bhp is a simple untrustworthy calculation of torque ! the fact remains the car made more torque than last time at powers so its more powerful the end ! I agree the recent figures were a tad larger than life but cant take jimbo seriously tbh if its scs built or mapped it is correct if ita anyone else its bollocks reminds me of the old bruce reed day's ! got nothing o say and saying to loud

Its made on the rollers what the engine is capable of making. Steve you have a fast car but I wish you had gone the GT30 route like i had. With your flowed head and decent inlet you would have seen more if thats what you wanted.

Plus it scares you so all is good

Jay,

Not strictly true. Jimbo didnt rubbish my figures.
He had the balls to say what a lot were thinking about making 545bhp on a T38 turbo. Way too high a figure.
