Idea from the spotted rs200 thread as there seems to be a few chezzy ford lads. Think we should start a bit of a meet up!?

What days are people free/not at other meets?

Im well up for this aswell, seems there is plenty of people

I can think of a good few places/Pubs we can do it at aswell just depends on the desired location

 

Well im from the bolsover end of Chesterfield, but most places are good for me

 

I'm up for this i'm only down the road from chezza.
I'm only in a bogo standard Focus although i'm defecting next month an having a VX-Line Astra.

 

I'm in Sheffield but chesterfield is only 20 mins away for me.

I work in chesterfield and dont live to far away,not that iv got any of my fords on the road yet but id still be up for coming.

 

Im in Buxton over t'other side of the hill Burts, but as said on the RS200 thread im up for a gathering. Personally i'd say on a sunday, mid afternoon/early evening, as for where, tbh you boys will have a better idea of pubs/meeting spots in Chez than i will, but ill throw in the Robin Hood, from memory its a decent size car park and it had decent beer on tap

I agree Sunday afternoon/ Evening is the best and we deffo need a nice beer on tap

Others prob know Chez a little better as im only ever there to see my Mrs but ill start looking for the best venue, Scort me old you do the same locally. See we could even do Matlock as a special as thats a good buzz on a nice sunny sunday

I know a couple of my none pf mates who drive fords would turn up too

If im thinking right, Robin Hood is on the Chesterfield side of Baslow, there's a campsite behing it if that helps.
Matlocks belting on a sunny weekend fella, only downside is it gets chuffing heaving, i mean carparks and everything are ram-jammed with bikes, so actually being able to stop somewhere is lucky lol.

Don't know if you've heard of 'Long Hill,' (B5004) from Buxton to Whaley Bridge, (excellent road i love it ) and there's the Shady Oak pub at the bottom, its cracking to sit outside on a sunny afternoon while the bikes scream past on their hot laps! Depends if folk mind travelling that far.

 

robin hood pub, if its the 1 im thinkin of matlock motor club use to have meets their, it is on the way to chatsworth/baslow, nice little place

the landlady is a complete twat to be honest mate,she just started barring all the regulers for no real reason.emma still works there and she says the pub wants to go all posh,but nobody goes in as shes barred everyone ha ha
