Here she is. Basically a totally standard J reg 4x4 Cossie with leather, 92k on the clock with the quietest Cossie engine I've ever heard. I've replaced the sharktooth rims with lattice ones because I like them better (the Sharktooths are for sale if anyone's interested, they're not brilliant but okay and all the tyres are well legal). I've got a few bits to do to it but basically it's a really good car which I got for a good price.

What does everyone think?

Cheers mate, yes, it's a decent old thing, only 2 previous owners and just a genuine standard hpi clear car. The engine is beautiful on it, so quiet it's untrue.

 

nice one.you don't come across many standard ones these days and with only 2 onwers it sounds like you got a good deal on a good car

 

Yes, just needs a couple of bits tidying up on the body and a decent stereo putting in and it's there really. Until my modifying head goes on of course, but it won't be anything major, I want to keep it reasonably standard because I've got another RS car that's going to end up a real beast. This one might end up being lowered a bit and a bigger exhaust going on but that's about it, then I'll just get it out and enjoy it.

 

Trev, looks very clean mate. Good choice on the colour. Hope you have lot's of fun with it!

Funny you should say that mate, the boot lid's got a dent in it and I managed to get a mint white boot lid with the proper coloured spoiler for Ł35, so that will be on the car soon.

 

That is the proper spoiler.

The late cossies came without the lip painted black.

I thought it looked like original paint. I must admit I like the black lip better though, and it'll be cheaper than getting the dent knocked out and painted because I can sell the all-white spoiler and get my money back.
