Default Track rod ends

Just bought a set now and got home and they arnt both the same.

One looks like its the same as on my car and the other is different. Do they have to be the same?

One is straight and the other bends off to the right.
Thread lengths are different, nut sizes are different.
One track rod end is 1/4 inch bigger in length

They are totally different. Is there a chance theyve got them mixed up or are they different to the originals?

They should both look the same if it's a mk4 they are the same both sides and if it's a mk5 they look the same but handed.
