hi guys one of my mates has brought a ka with a 1.8 black top zetec sqeezed in it its still on the ka gear box and its mounts that are not realy man enough when you floor it the engine and box kick back and make the exhaust rattle against the body does any one know of anywhere that makes heavy duty mounts ? ive tryed all the usual places

 

Chris Birkbeck sells them and im pretty sure pumaspeed/pumabuild do.

Also nobody else i know with a Ka zetec has had this problem. Sounds like your mates was badly converted.

 

They all keep the Ka gearbox too, by the way
