Hi,

as title, will 235/40/17 fit standard sapphire rear arches with 8x17 et40 wheels

My cars going in for tuning in a couple of weeks and its time for some new tyres but want to get as much width on the rear as possible (currenty on 215/40/17's all round). The car is on koni's and around std height maybe slightly lower.

i tryed 235's they scrapped on my saph

 

I had 235/40/17's on a et35 rim on my 2wd saph never had any issues!

 

I have 8j et 38 wheels on my saph

235 40 17 on rears , no probs at all

 

On an ET40 you should piss it

 

Et 35 I believe, and I get very slight scrubbing on very bumpy roads with rear passengers. Thats with konis and a 6 deg beam
