Take the blade off a hacksaw and split the nut, it will take a while but it will be ok. Either that, or get a cold chisel and beat the fucker until it splits or starts to turn.

or get a ratchet extension with a 90 degree knuckle on it

Or do it the long way and undo the down pipe to gain access.

the annoying thing is, i bet if you could get a spanner on it it would just probably snap lol.
You could try some penetrating fluid, stick a ring spanner on one end and and use a hammer and chisel/screwdriver to tap the bolt round.
Or try and break the head off with a screwdriver and hammer.

can you get the other bolt out? so just that one left, and move the exhaust so that it just snaps the bolt?

i use these for them type of jobs the belts are real tuff and they fit in tight spots

with one of these:

and WD40 on it, then grind the bolt on the side so that the inferior nr spanner is a really tight fit (if it's a good spanner there should be no problem) then hammer the spanner.
Did that for my turbo bolts and worked like a charm.
