hi guys not been on for a while but just bought a xr4i with rs500 kit fitted gonna be a long project but hopefully worth it in the end just got to source some bits pic to follow

looks alot better in photos than it actually is but most of kit is genuine which is a bonus

well had a play with it today been stood since 2003 but put a fresh battery some fresh fuel and she cracked up second turn sounds sweet,needs 2 sills fitting and other bits but gave her a good clean pic to follow

The 2.8 runs always, as long as the fuel pump is running. Mine stood for 9 years, replaced a few rubbers, cleaned my injectors, fired her up, and got a mot two days later, only the brakes wernt that good, and it needed some heavy braking, and it was okay!

Great car, i just only dont like the painted bumpers on the xr, but further it looks good!

agreed, id even put the 4i kit back on with the cossy front bumper. 4i's are getting so rare now

Well done for saving another 4i, I was watching it on eBay. Looks a lot work there. You doing it all yourself? I personally think you should keep the pillar because there more 3door shells about than 4i shells. Good luck, gonna be watching this thread
