Alright chaps long story cut short i have/had a hp laptop loved it was an awsome bit of kit imho it still looks brand new but after it was just over 3 years old it broke and required something re seating on the motherbored had that done lasted a few weeks then it broke again and now cant be fixed with out a new mother bored but basicly its got 2 hardrivers on/in it and i would like to know if i can get my files pics and music ect off them? Is there anything like a hard drive conector to usb plug so i can simply plug it into a desktop pc and transfer my files?

What you need is an external enclosure or a caddy as they are also called. Check you local pc shop or fleabay for cheaper ones. Depending on your drive you should be able to pick up a usb powered unit for less than a tenner.
