Default a little zetec question please

is it the sensor on top of the thermostat housing that gives the signal to the ecu

the gti is killing fuel at an alarming rate at the mo

60miles on 20 quid lol

and i take it it's the lower one that gives the reading on the dash

Can't remember but unplug one when it's running. If the dash goes, you know which is which.

I thought it was the black square plug under the thermostat housing that the ecu uses
