Ok, it's a bit of a vague question, but was just wondering about the pros & cons of diesel vs petrol Mondeos. I'll be looking for a 2007 model, probably. I've had diesel cars for quite a few years & I like the power & economy of them, but I'm doing fewer miles now (and petrol cars should also be cheaper to buy?). Seem to hear of a lot of injector probs with diesels - are petrol models better? Or are there probs with petrol that diesels don't have??

Go for a petrol engine if your doing less than 12k miles a year.

They can still have issues to be fixed, but seem to be cheaper to run.....in terms of maintenance.
