Mk3 Mondeo TDCi 2003 (140k) with slightly odd feel to the steering! At low speeds, if I take my hands off the steering wheel, it wobbles from side to side, about an inch each way. At higher speeds it's not really noticeable, so I don't think it's a wheel out of balance and I haven't hit a major pothole recently! Wife is also pleading innocence...
Any ideas, please??

Bottom steering knuckle under the dash would be the first port of call before getting the wheels off
