Default Heater Matrix on a sapph?

What sort of job is it? i keep getting a wafting smell of coolant inside, so i'm suspecting 5 months parked up has called time on my matrix.

usual dash out job? or can i pop off the lower piece and pull it out?

i did mine; but i cant exactly remember what i took out; i'm pretty sure i only took the lower section of the dash out and removed the matrix from the drivers side

i did mine about 4 years ago so cant remember exactly how i did it, but deffo not whole dash out

Yes you just need to take the lower dash out mate, it's also a good time to refurbe all the seals on the heater box bafels which makes a world of difference in the summer by stoping warm air getting into the cab from the matrix.

I did mine, when I built the engine, (snapped a pipe off) dont remember taking much of the dash out, only the lower part, if the lower part is split, I might of just taken one side out....? Was about 6years ago. Don't remember it being that bad a job?! Good luck with it!
