Most people use a low pressure pump to fill the swirl pot, then an external high pressure pump to supply the engine from the swirl pot.

There are a few more pipes to attach before you get it all up and running, but I think that may answer your question

Best to have the swirl pot being fed by a pump I would think

Any pics of your car? Sounds like an interesting project.

depending on what power your running will depend on pump size . i ran a atl bac tank in my last escort with a 2.5lt swirl pot, i fed the pot with a 044, then i fed the rail with 2 x 044 pumps.

thanks steven
