it won't work if its a CVH chip.

Also we don't use 3 bar map sensors with our OFAB OFAC Chips.

thanks james, the chip is from yourselves in 2007 and states cvh phase 2 on my receipt for my engine builder who originally did efi conversion in my car for me,
i plan on running it and getting it setup by my local tuner then use it mildly then get it on my recovery truck and geetting it down to yourselves to be setup with a new chip, can you rewrite my current chip and set it up or will i need a new chip, ive established its a 2.5 bar map sensor now thanks

rolls ran his XR2 Turbo with a 1.8 ZVH on a standard CVH chip for quite a while without it blowing up so it should get the car running. might need a dodgy MOT to get it past emissions mind.

dont go driving it silly just get it up to MSD and get the chip re-mapped.

IIRC those EEC-IV chips are pretty expensive so its agood job they can be edited, not the 10p eeproms that go into cossie ECUs.

i once broke a brand new MSD EEC-IV chip by not following the instructions and plugging it in upside down, felt proper guilty when stu did me another for free as i found out the cost of the hardware was almost 100quid

what part number should the 3 bar be? I have a black one which I was told by a reliable source that it is a 3 bar (it is a genuine MM)

Cheers
