Default Map Sensor, Wiring help ?!?!?!?

Hello,

So today i saw this

Not sure whats going on here!

From the start!

The connector on here is very sticky like tar so today i thought i would take it off and see why.

Once off i saw that a wire was loose and kinda rolled round under the sticky tar tape! The wires look ok going into the connector although the wires have got some kinda sleeve over them that i cant take off and look like the red wire in this picture.

-----

Picture of the sticky nasty wire.

Should i be worried about this loose wire or just tape it all back up and forgot about it?

Many Thanks Eigdoog.

Thats the word i was thinking of! Heat shrink lol

Well the second picture was something esla i was going to ask later in life but i think thats been fucked with as i THINK there should be a connector there As there is meant to be 3 connectors so that i can take off the inlet with wires but i cant seem to do that as someone before has fucked it up!
