Default which cam belt

Time to get the timing belt changed. which to go for? car is a focus st 170. any other parts i should be changing at the same time?

GET a ford one.and get someone that knows what there doing to do it.. these are not the same as the normal 1.8/2.0's

get a gates timing belt kit you dont need the extra exspense of a ford kit because gates make genuine belts for 99% of manufacturers anyway easy enough belt to do if you have the locking kit and are competant with tools, do not attempt if not tho

Gates belts arw good too.I would be changing the adjuster and the idler.

afaik the water pump is driven from the aux belt

Used the gates belts every time, same as fords but cheaper

A gates belt every time mate, my sons rst is mental and he swares by em and i have also used em many times in the past
