Default Frst or 6deg beam?

My 200 is going tomorrow night, which will leave me with enough cash to either buy a cheap FRST, as i bit of a project to entertain me; or, buy the cos a 6 degree rear beam.

problem is, i can't decide. i've got no actual use for another fiesta, apart from i'd like having another. but i also find it a little hard to justify another k thrown at the cos. would i really notice a difference? or would i have to make the front fully adjustable too?

any opinions would be grand

I'd go for the fiesta, probably not the best choice but who cares? I was in a similar situation last year, buy a gearbox for the saph or an rst off my mate. Went for the rst and it's been great fun although i'll regret it when my box goes tits up

I'd go with the cossie option, just concentrate on turning that into a monster, and a beam is a good start.

this is what i was thinking. i loved mine, but i don't have a need for it, and i' can't really afford to insure it and the sapph at the same time. would be a pretty orniment in the workshop, though

I's currently stg3ish, 365bhp/390lbft. using it daily again, with the odd track day and 'ring trip. i've never really felt the handling was poor or anything, but thats probably cause i'm used to it

Beam 100% IMO the difference is night and day no need to do anything to the front unless you want to.

Rear beam every time. Its the rear beam that causes a lot of the problems with cossie handling.

Gives your more confidence, car doesn't wallow in bends and go into oversteer as much and off you do stick the arse out it goes forwards whilst being sideways.

That and a proper rear diff transforms the handling

Looks like that might be the best option, i reckon. at least once its bought, its done. another fiesta will be yet another can of worms opened, i suppose
