We are working on the prices at the moment mate, they certainly will never be any more than direct.

Im looking to have a set of maps directly suited to these products aswell, so we can supply good maps that will work with them.

That may be of real interest to the focus RS guys.

I've read on another forum that their intercoolers actually cause surge due to the poor or should I say cheap core they use.

As you have mapped a few cars can you shed any light on that ?

Slight surge was noted on the 70mm 500 one when i done back to back tests with the Spec-R intercooler.

Interesting, it was Joe @ GS Motorsport that mentioned it, I am interested in the new spec r copy one but would like to see some results first, I'm currently using a genuine 500 I/c which people have always rated quite highly, it's probably atleast 20 years old

No, IMO you would expect nothing more than the newer higher flowing cooler to flow more lol.

We will tailor map yours to suit your exact spec.

Webshop is comming along now!

I wouldn't worry about the age of it as long as its still in good physical condition.

Never a more truer sentence said !!!!!!!always copying the best , yet people still seem to buy 2nd rate stuff , and then ask questions to see if it's still as good !!!!
It aint rocket science to work out why SPEC-R is the best .......

The top tuners ( MA Developments, Julian Godfrey and Joe at heart power )all use spec-r .

The Spec R performed well due to the Garratt core, i don't think the Airtech uses this, but is just a look a like?

I hope the copy items don't work, so peoples workmanship and ideas are not just given away. Personally I'd test something before selling it to a mass market. And the webshop link doesn't work!

Sounds like a good idea James, seem like decent products too.

Can't believe that people are still arguing about copying. It's like saying you wish RS500 stlye coolers don't work because it's copying fords work.
At the end of the day who gives a fuck? It's the companies making the products problem, not mine or yours. We just benefit from choice and better prices. And moaning about 'one man band this, perfectionist that' is pointless too. Thats life in business.

Well i think I've got most of the coolers and rads in there for most cars now,

ill be on the rest of the stuff tomorrow if i get chance.

I'm thinking of setting up a 10% discount code for the first week when its all completed. I will let you all know if this is the case.

im loving the look of the mk2 Focus rs goods, the air box looks very tasty!

pro alloy coolers are well made bits of kit i have fitted airtec and they do not fit without bending cutting etc and do not come close to pro alloy /pace/ spec r
you pay for what you get.

We all love to play with our cars though,

i don't see it taking a little bit of time and effort to fit is going to be a problem for most people. Its like a hobby to most of us.

The results i have seen from the air tec cooler range has been very good indeed. intact they have surprised most people just how well they do work.

Ive fitted a few myself and never had a problem with any of them. if i had any doubts on quality we wouldn't be selling them

They are a fantastic affordable option, which i see a great market for.

It may also allow us to work with Airtec, to produce some goods for the common cars we map everyday, so we can push things on a little further.

I would love to see some coolers for the BMW diesel range, in particular the 320D
