Unhappy RS1800 dipped beam problems

Hi,
First of all I am pleased to be in pf community as I read around the forum I've seen that people are very friendly and eager to help and I'm glad about that.
I am having some problems with my mk3 rs1800.
The dipped beams aren't working at all.
Last night I removed the fuse box, checked the relays (visual only as I'm not very good in electrical problems), checked all the fuses and they are all working, checked the cables from the indicator stalker to the fuse box and everything seems fine...
What could it be?
Any advice much appreciated!

The switches themselves tend to play up over time, so could be worth trying a new stalk.

Hmm,I've bought an used stalker from someone over the internet, unfortunately I wasn't able to test them and had to trust him that they are working. Could it be the relay ? I understand that there is a relay for the high beam and another one for the dipped beam ? Thank you for your help!

Stupid question maybe but have you checked the bulbs?

Checked
Thanks for the highlight, quite often the easiest things are neglected but this time I've checked.
Some times the dipped beam turns on for a few seconds then off again then on again and so on...it really sounds like some wire or something doesn't make contact all the time...

I to would suggest the relay, if then that perhaps a connection problem.

you should be able to hear the relay click if you put your ear to it when switching on the lights! You can get them for about £1 at a scrapper! I think it is relay D. I can probably sent you a pic of the relay if you need.
