Default Buying an old Ford DayVan

I'm thinking of buying an old (late 80's early 90's) ford dayvan. I'm going to use it for camping with the family.

Has anyone got any experience with them (running/repair costs) I know they mostly come with V8's so fuel costs will be high, but I wont be using it everyday so that's ok.

Great fun, most as you are juicy but the parts are readily available and fairly cheap as they are so common.

There's a place in brum that specialises in them as we used them for parts a bit. Will try and find the number for you.
