car insurance?? :S
alrite,
been looking at a few cars..i love fords but i love 80's, early 90's beemers..
anyway did a quote on another rs2000..this is with being 24, 3 years driving and 0 no claims..came up £1250...
also done an rs turbo s2, came up £1260
then..
was looking at a e36 coupe the 328i, came up £910
does that look odd? lol
or are just old fords in the higher insurance groups?

Been looking at insurance recently myself; a 2WD Saph was about £250 cheaper than a MK1 FRS/E46 M3 to insure for exactly the same quote details with the same company.
I think they all sound like good quotes given your age, lack of NCB and time driving... the Bimma is probably less because they're harder to steal than an old Ford and if you crash then you're less likely to be injured in an E36 BMW than an RS2K, where the only non-rusty crumple zone is your face.
Cheers,
Grant
