ive not seen any no pro/cheap jobbies that are any good

i used a big battery and some excellent jump leads, i can start most things, i worked in a place with alot of big mervs trucks and v8's and we had a used lorry battery and it started everything and it was rarely charged up again, money better spent i recon, especially if you know a guy with a spare lorry battery

Sealy ones are really good we have 2 of them at work 12/24v ones as i work for daf and they get the hell abused out of them lol!. Used on daf aids jump starting the fork lift all the time powering tail lifts on trailers when there is no unit!. There used almost every day and they last well so i would recommend!

never had a problem with my Sealey one, and it's a few years old.

Although sometimes it has been a struggle on totally flat batteries, but for it's size it's been great. And even a few years old, still working great.

Plus a proper booster pack will be safer than a big battery and leads. Dont forget modern car electronics are easily fried using jump leads. If you do go down that route, get a surge protector.
